Sapphire Coast Oyster Trail

Located inside the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre this projects was about creating an immersive space for Sapphire Coast Wilderness Oysters.

The visual display represents a conceptualised topographical map, highlighting places of significance along the Sapphire Coast Oyster Trail, representing 65 oyster farmers along the incredible coast line between Womboyn and Bermagui.

The 10m x 3m graphic was applied as a vinyl film to the walls and windows surrounding the space. Interactive pods made of timber battens, wrapped in old hessian oyster bags from the area, dot the space, creating shrouded seating areas containing videos and information about the local industry.
